Liberon Black Patinating Wax is designed to fill the grain in open grained timbers, creating an aged effect. It is ideal for ageing modern furniture and disguising repairs to old and new furniture. The jet-black color also works well as a final finish on ebonized wood.

It can also be used for adding a coloured finish or highlighting areas on finished pieces such as carvings. It can also be mixed with the White Liming Wax for different ageing effects.

Liberon's #0000 extra fine steel wool is great for application of this product.
