OSMO Wood Oils are designed and produced to meet the individual demands of exotic wood species. While the oils are suitable for use on any timber, the names of their colours (such as Bangkirai, Garapa, Massaranduba, Thermowood, Larch and Douglas Fir) reflect the colour of the timbers they have been formulated for.
 The colours presently stocked in New Zealand are Bangkirai, Bangkirai Dark, Massaranduba, Garapa and Douglas Fir.

Coverage is 20-24 square metres per litre on hard woods, with reduced coverage of approximately 8-10 square metres per litre on softer woods such as pine. Either a 2 coat application as a stand alone finish, or one coat if the oil is being used as a base coat under one of OSMO's clear exterior oils such as Anti Slip Decking Oil.
Easy to maintain and rejuvenate. In full weather conditions, a one coat recoat would be required every 12-18 months. Where the deck is protected by a roof, or is not in full weather, recoat should be every 2-3 years. Recoat is a simple as a wash down with a good timber cleaner such as OSMO's Wood Reviver gel, allow to dry, then apply the recoat.
