Woodguard is a clear, light plant oil timber seasoner and sealant, containing highly refined natural waxes. It is recommended for use on unprotected timbers exposed during the construction process.

An easy to apply, one step application for the pre-treatment of unseasoned timbers. Woodguard will assist in the reduction of warping, cracking and checking caused by moisture absorption or the rapid drying out of green timbers (such as Macrocarpa).

Woodguard is also essential as a seasoner for new hardwood decking timbers, such as mahogany, kwila and eucalypts etc. After applying 1 liberal all round coat to the timber, allow a period of approximately 6-8 weeks before application of the decking oil of your choice.
