OSMO Natural Oil Woodstain is a decorative, microporous transparent wood stain for exterior timbers. It is especially suited for timber patio furniture, garage doors, decks, pergolas and other exterior trim. Extremely weather and UV resistant. Satin matt finish. The number of coats depends upon the degree of transparency you require on the timber. One coat is transprent, but the protection level will not be as good. With 2 coats, the protection level will be higher, but finish will not be as transparent.

The colours available in New Zealand are: Pine, Larch, Teak, Chestnut, Oak, Walnut, Red Cedar and Mahogany. The remaining colours in the range are available to order ex Germany.

Coverage is approximately 20-24 square metres per litre, depending upon timber type. The coverage rates will be less on softer woods such as Pine. 750mls should cover thae average hardwood patio setting with 2 coats.

Renovation is easy, with a 1 coat application to the cleaned, dry and intact surface after 12 - 18 months depending upon the timber's exposure. Where the timber is fully protected from the sun and weather, a recoat may not be needed for 2-3 years.
