Available as Orange or Blonde de-waxed flakes. Shellac is a centuries old, traditional finishing system - generally known as French Polishing - for interior wooden furniture, providing a durable, smooth gloss finish.

Derived from natural sources, it provides an ecologically beneficial alternative to synthetic chemicals.

Shellac can be used as a furniture polish, wood primer or a sanding sealer. It is food safe, fast drying and UV resistant, as well as being safe for coating children's toys, bassinets, cots and playpens etc.

Flakes are availble in 250g packs for the home handyman. Trade sizes of 1kg and larger are available upon request.

We also supply Shellac reducer, which is the perfect solution for dissolving shellac flakes. 1 and 4 litre cans are available for the home handyman. 20 litre drums can be supplied to the trade, with prices upon application.
